Ouside Worship

Outside worship service will begin this Sunday, August 16, 2020 on the north side of Memorial Chapel, just outside the fellowship hall doors. We will continue to provide a virtual worship service for everyone, but the timing of our posts may change a bit (i.e., these may not be available first thing on Sunday morning).  Please be patient with us as we make this new transition. Here are a few things to note about these services:

-We are required to wear masks in this type of setting on the Emory & Henry campus.  If you are not willing to wear a mask, please do not try to attend.  We will have masks available on-site if you happen to need one.

-The service will be shorter than usual (about 30 minutes).  There will be no passing of the peace or congregational singing.  An offering plate will be available to the side should you wish to make a contribution to your church while at worship.

-Please feel free to bring your own chair (e.g., a camping chair).   This will be helpful to us.  All seating must be at least six feet apart to ensure physical distancing.

-The church will be unlocked and bathrooms available, but please observe all posted signs (e.g., maximum number of people allowed in certain areas).

-In the event of rain or storms the service will be canceled (i.e., we cannot move inside during this time as that is not being allowed).

-We will do our best to have some type of FM signal available for people who come but may want to remain in their vehicles and listen.

-Students are always welcome to worship with us.
